Make Quotations Comparable Before Comparing Price

Two practical guides for structuring automotive detailing tool sourcing conversations.

MICROFIBER BUYING GUIDE

How to Compare Microfiber Towel Quotations

Two quotations are not comparable until the specification and commercial basis are aligned.

  1. Normalize the specification. Request the same size, GSM, blend, weave, pile, edge, color and pack count.
  2. Separate declaration from verification. Ask which test method and tested model support each claim.
  3. Compare the commercial basis. Keep EXW, FOB and delivered prices, MOQ, sample charge and packaging MOQ separate.
  4. Use approval stages. Approve written specification, product sample, packaging and inspection criteria separately.
